Frequently Asked Questions
Why are you calling it camp when it really isn’t one?
You are right, it’s certainly not a traditional camp. It’s better than a camp. There are no mosquitoes. That said, we did not know what else to call it.
How old do you have to be to go to SynaVoice SOL?
The camp is only for rising high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Camper ages will typically be between 14-18 years old. SynaVoice SOL will not accept any campers younger than 13.
What is a cabin?
The cabin is a secure Zoom breakout room where you will meet with your counselor and 4-7 other high school campers.
Are sessions designed for specific genders?
Absolutely not! The sessions were designed for young adults and there is no gender preference for any session. Depending on the registration for each session, we anticipate that some cabins will be co-ed and some will be single gender. Counselors will not be assigned to cabins by gender.
Is there a code of conduct?
Yes. Have fun, but no Zoom bombing.
