SynaVoice SOL virtual camp was launched in 2020 in response to pandemic-related learning and opportunity loss for high school students. Thankfully, this summer, there are other opportunities for students to explore, so we will not be running the camp again.

SUMMER ONLINE FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
SynaVoice SOL is a pop-up, virtual camp developed to provide high school students with a stimulating summer experience they can enjoy from their own homes, because of quarantine. Each one-week session focuses on a specific area of interest or topic that will engage a diverse group of high school students and expand their horizons. The daily sessions end at noon each day, because it’s summer!
SynaVoice SOL is structured like a summer camp, but is indoors, and therefore, way cooler.

Sherhara Downing – Session Lead Powerful Presence
How does it work?
On Monday through Thursday, the day begins with a 45-minute presentation from the Leader who is a subject matter expert in their field. The high school campers then breakout into their cabins for discussions and activities facilitated by the college-student counselors. On Friday there will be an all-camp LIVE! activity which could involve cabin or individual presentations, or a Question and Answer session with the Leader of the session.
Registering is easy.
- No health care, transportation, or emergency contact forms to fill out
- No COVID-19 screening questions to answer
If you have a rising 9th-12th grader, just fill out the form and indicate the sessions of interest for each camper.

Leaders
Our leaders are nationally-known experts in their fields and experienced and engaging public speakers.

Counselors
Our counselors are college students at elite universities like Brown University, New York University, and Wake Forest.

Campers
Our campers are rising 9th – 12th graders curious to engage on a variety of topics, meet new people and have fun!
Payment options that soothe the SOL
All campers are welcome regardless of their ability to pay.
You can help defray the costs for your camper by making a voluntary contribution. Once you register, you will be directed to a payment page for your contribution. To insure a diverse population, some schools have been given a guaranteed number of spots for campers selected by the school’s administration.
Enrollment will close once full capacity is reached. SynaVoice SOL reserves the right to cancel sessions for lack of enrollment.
No high school kids? No problem. You can sponsor a camper!
